［出場選手の感想文］

■関西学院大阪インターナショナルスクール（大阪府）
スナッグゴルフ全国大会に参加して　教諭：坂中和也

本校は6年ぶり２度目の全国大会出場となりました。
２度目とはいえ、５年生１人、３年生２人の僅か３人の部員全員がスナッグゴルフを始めたばかりの初心者で、練習も週１回のみの限られた条件の中、不安を胸に臨んだ全国大会でした。
そんな不安に反し、生徒は溌刺としたプレーで奮闘し出場チーム33校中25位という成績を残し「全力でプレーし自己ベストスコアを出す」という当初の目標を見事に果たしてくれました。
全国から勝ち抜いて来た他校の生徒とも、試合ではライバルであるもののスナッグゴルフが好きな仲間として交流を広げることができたことにうれしく思いました。
前の組みのプレーを待つ間など、まるでずっと一緒に練習してきた同じ学校の友人のように打ち解けて談笑している光景を目にし、子供たちの大きな可能性を感じました。
又、お忙しいスケジュールの中、わざわざ大会に参加してくださったドリームチームのプロには、一緒にラウンドしながら子供達に優しく接して頂きましたことお礼申し上げます。
特にプレー時だけではなく昼食までわざわざ本校のテントまで足を運んでくださった小鯛プロには、子供にゴルフの楽しきを知ってもらいたいという姿勢に真のプロ意識、強い使命感を感じ頭が下がる思いでした。
子供達には、全国大会に出場することによって得ることのできた数々の貴重な体験や感動を学校に持ち帰り、他の生徒に伝えることによって本校でのスナッグゴルフの輪を広げてくれることを期待しています。
このような機会を与えてくださったJGTOの皆様、また、協賛しいただいた各企業の皆様方、ありがとうございました。

スナッグゴルフ全国大会に参加して　5年：西脇ジーン

The golf tournament was at first scary for me since it was the Japan finals.
When I arrived, I saw cameras and news people right when I came out of the bus.
This made me get more anxious about the tournament.
When I had to introduce my school it scared me because there were loads of people watching and there was a lot of cameramen.
At the same time I was really happy to be there but I was really scared.
When I saw the pros I was really surprised because I wasn’t expecting that many pros to come.
I was very stoked to be able to meet pros and see then.
When I got onto h\the course it felt good and nerve racking because I knew that my first hits are usually bad and my 2nd is usually the good one.
So my first hit ended up becoming bad like I predicted.
As I went a long, I was able to meet a pro and play with him.
I was also able to get a sing and a photo with him.
As I went a long the game, it eventually finished.
After the game, everyone was able to eat curry and vegetables to keep the kids healthy and fine.
After eating,KOdai pro asked us if he can sit with us,and wi said sure.
WE aiso took a picture with him and I got a sign from him.
After eating and finishing off everything, there was a exhibition where the pros did challenges against the kids and one of the pros had to choose one of the teams of kids to challenge.
On the 2nd challenge, I raised my hands and Kodai pro chose us :).
After that more challenges went a long and then everything finished at the tournament/ Then the bus came to pick us all up.

I usually play golf.
Playing snug golf was much harder but really fun.
I made a lot of new friends and want to keep in touch.
I wish I could go to the competition again and my friends as well so that we could meet again.
And also I wish I could win next time.
It was fun to talk with pros especially Kodai pro was very funny.
He was really good at golf.
He told me that I can be a pro some day.
I will keep practicing and hopefully I can be pro like him one day in the future.
I feel thankful to to everyone who helped and inviting me.

スナッグゴルフ全国大会に参加して　3年：田山えいこう

今回スナッグゴルフ大会に参加できっていろんな経験をしました。
練習した通りに力かげんをちょうせつしながらうってフィニッシュが取れたことが嬉しかったです。
暑い中良いライバルたちにあえたたけあえて嬉しかったし、もっと頑張って来年はもっと良い成績をだしたくなりました。
２回もalbatrossをのがしたことを悔しく思う気持ちを大切にして来年をねらいます。
知らない人たちと友達になって一緒に遊べたことは本当に嬉しいことでした。
また来年もあえたらいいなと思って願っています。
何よりすごいプロたちにあえて一緒にプレイもできて一緒にご飯も食べられてプロたちと楽しいgameもやらせてもらって楽しい嬉しい時間でした。
天気が暑くて大変でしたがそれより楽しくて学べることが多かったです。
これからもっと本気でゴルフを頑張って行きたいです。
