Bridgestone Open 2018
Go away bad jinx! Sang-Hee Lee on the hunt for "wire-to-wire WIN"
It was another gusty day on Sodegaura CC.
"When it's windy, you tend to strike the ball too powerful and swing too fast. I managed to remind myself with the good rhythm and tempo by counting. I did pretty well, don't you think?"
Sang-Hee Lee kept the co-leader position along with Masahiro Kawamura, scoring 12 under Par in total.
In 2013, his Japan Tour debut year, Lee started Tied at 4th on the Final Round of the Bridgestone Open but scored terrifying 82 and fell all the way to the bottom.
Last year the Final Round was cancelled, and Lee ended up as a runner-up. So close to the victory but not given the chance to fight.
Lee tasted good times and bad times at Sodegaura CC.
Now, tomorrow could become a GREAT day at Sodegaura CC, first Victory is almost in his hands.
"I am nervous to be honest. But being nervous does keep me mentally prepared. I get to start in the Final pairings on the Final Round, so I will use all of my experience and strength to get that winning trophy."
Tomorrow might become the best memory that Lee could make on Sodegaura CC.
