Anthony Quayle made magnificent 5 straight birdie finish to become the solo leader after the Round 3 at Casio World Open with 15 under par total. This will be Anthony's first time to start as the Final Round leader.

He ranks 6th in the Driving Distance, with the over 300 yards drives on 2 of the measured holes today. This is his first appearance at Kochi Kuroshio CC, but it seems to suite him well.
"This course enables you to swing it big, it's my kind of a course."

Anthony made a slow start, but from 14th and on was spectacular. After draining the 6-meter on 14th he was on a roll. He made birdie on 15th, and on next reachable 16th, he challenged to reach it with 1W, which got stuck in the left side roughs, but with a great short game and putt from 4-meter gave him another birdie. His birdie streak continued until the end to make it 5 in a row. At final Par 5 18th, he made his 2nd shot from 235 yards out easily onto the green with 4I. He 2 putted for birdie to close the day with 7 under 65, totaling to 15 under par and solo leader.

He started playing golf at age of 7. He asked Santa Clause for the golf gears as the Christmas present. He then became the No.2 Amateur of the Australian Golf. He turned Pro at 2017, came to Japan Tour on the next year. He succeeded earning the Tour Card on his rookie year and this is his 2nd season on the Tour. Anthony currently ranks at 48th on the Money Rankings, but with a possible victory tomorrow, it will be definitely become a huge bonus for him.

If he wins tomorrow, it will provide him the ticket to JT Cup, the season ending tournament only for the chosen ones. Anthony was planning to be at a tournament back home in Australia, but he says, "If I win tomorrow, I will consider changing my schedule."

He will once again play with Shintaro Kobayashi tomorrow, who now sits at solo 2nd.
"Shintaro seems to be in good condition too, so both of us will aim to gain that first ever Tour win and make a great battle tomorrow."
