Fujisankei Classic 2019

"Power vs Uniqueness" Chan Kim and Ho-Sung Choi sits as co-leaders going into Sunday

The weekend showdown is coming to be a battle between "power hitter vs unique character". Chan Kim, who still holds the longest Driving Distance Average of 346.50 yards goes head to head with world known dancing "fisherman swing" Ho-Sung Choi aka "Tora-san".

This is their first time to play in the same group at the tournament. Chan Kin saw the more than unique and dancing performance of Ho-Sung Choi for the first time and was amazed.
"I really don't have any words to describe him, but he is very unique."

On the other hand, Ho-Sung Choi is having a backache problem.
"I can only swing with 80% of my power so, I am left behind even more, but I will try to hang on."

Both started their Round 3 at total 12 under. At first, Chan Kim seemed to control the game. Chan Kim made his lead to 2 shots, while Ho-Sung Choi struggled. But on 13th, Chan Kim made bogey and his moving Saturday stopped. Chan bounced back with a birdie on 16, but at final 18th, he finished with a bogey. Ho-Sung Choi barely made his 2.5 meters par saving putt and eventually they were both at 13 under, tied as co-leaders going on to Sunday.

Co-leaders have 4 shots lead. Again, "power vs uniqueness" battle will be seen in the final grouping.
"I know that dancing Tora-san will get in my eyes, but I will try to calm down and focus on my game", said Chan Kim.
"I will play energetically. I hope to keep the fairways tomorrow" Ho-Sung Choi told the press in Japanese.
Let's see how the final showdown will become, Sunday afternoon.
