On Monday, Kodai Ichihara, Defending Champion of last year's Shishido Hills visited the Iwama No3 Elementary School to give lesson on SNAG Golf. They promised each other to defend their titles.

Kids kept their promise and defended their title, but Kodai couldn't. But Kodai was greeted by the sectional winning kids and was escorted to the 1st tee. Kodai praised the kids for their wonderful work and told them to have good luck on the National Championship as well.

Yuki Shibara (6th grader) and Yuta Ito (6th grader) were joyous to be escorting their hero.
"We are so happy to be his junior at same school."
They are eager to win at the National Championship as well.

On the sectional tournament, 4 schools from Fukushima Prefecture joined to have the experience of tournament atmosphere. They also joined the kid's escorts.

Fukushima's Nishigou Town Public Yone Elementary was selected to be Ryo Ishikawa's escort. Then came the problem, "which 2 kids will be able to hold hands with Ryo?"
Surprisingly, kids decided upon themselves by making lottery and Rina Hiruta (6th grader) and Yuki Ootaka (5th grader) got the privilege.

They seemed to be nervous, but when Ryo asked, "did you enjoy it yesterday?" They replied with a big smile saying, "it was really fun!"
