Devastating news about breaking fire destroying all of the main structures at Shuri Castle, a UNESCO world Heritage site in Naha, capitol city of Okinawa Prefecture came in yesterday and many of the players who has roots to Okinawa Prefecture, such as Terumichi Kakazu had to play under depressive feelings.

"Shuri Castle is our symbol."
His home is at northern part of Okinawa Prefecture but its just 1-hour drive to Shuri Castle. He found out this news from his caddy's e-mail and watched the devastating news on TV. He says he was shocked and wordless watching the Shuri Castle in flames.

When he got to the course, he was talking with his fellow Okinawa players, such as Ryuji Sadaoka and Kazuki Higa about this sad news.

Terumichi first went to see the Shuri Castle on the field trip in elementary school. He has been to the Castle few times taking his friends for the sightseeing tour.
"I never thought Shuri Castle will be gone. I feel a huge blank spot in my heart now."

He was really depressed to hear that all of the main structures were destroyed.
"I was trying to figure out, if there is something I could do to help rebuilt."

Terumichi fought well with depressing heart. Scored 67 to total 5 under par at 19T and moved on to the weekends.
"I think the reason for this fire will be revealed soon, but as for rebuilding the Castle, I really want to help as a Pro from Okinawa Prefecture."

Coincidentally, Heiwa PGM Championship is scheduled next week in Okinawa. Yusaku Miyazato from Okinawa will be coming back to Japan Tour as a host Pro.
"There are many JLPGA players from Okinawa too. So, as a One Team, we want to make an action. I would really want to give my support."

Terumichi is 5 shots behind the leaders after the 2 rounds. If he could manage to win this week, it will be the best prize he could deliver back home.
