Shaun Norris Interview on British Open and other goals for this season

Q. Is there any specific strategy for the British Open?
A. No, not really. I just want to try to get good rest back home and get ready for the Major. I haven't done any research of the Royal Portrush, I know that it is a links style course and tough course, which I do quite enjoy. I would just take it as just another tournament and try to enjoy myself and play well.

Q. Any other goals for this season?
A. I definitely want to qualify for the ZOZO Championship, but I also want to enjoy the time to spend with my little boy back home. I feel that my game is close, and the win is under the belt too, it will come soon so, I will just go and enjoy myself.

Q. It must be very lonely to be separated from your family.
A. It is not easy, but unfortunately you have to buy food and diapers, so I have to play the tournaments. Later in the year, when we start to have 12 consecutive tournaments in a row, I can't stay away from home that long so, I plan to bring my family to Japan to stay for few weeks here. Then I will get to see them in between the tournaments. Otherwise it will be definitely lonely and I will miss them too much.
