4 new players earned their way to receive the tickets to 148th The Open

Chan Kim couldn't catch Yuta Ikeda but was able to finish solo 2nd and make a great come back from the injury with the ticket to The Open added. During the winner's ceremony, Cham Kim was suddenly asked, "Hey Chan, don't you agree that today should have been over 8000 yards too, right?"

Chan Kim and Yuta Ikeda eventually played in same grouping for all 4 days and they kept on complaining why the total yardage setting for the first 2 days were around 7600 yards. On Round 3, the course was over 8000 yards, but it was again around 7600 yards setting on the Final Round. Chan couldn't fully understand Yuta's speech in Japanese, but replied with a smile and a nod.

He suffered serious back ache in 2017 and broke his left wrist in 2018. After long days of rehabilitation, he was able to compete in the winner's circle and show the fan he is really "BACK".
