It is Mizuno Open this week, which has the subtile as "Road to the British Open", one of the prestigious events on Japan Tour. On Wednesday, Pro-Am tournament was held, and a surprise was set by the sponsor to the defending champion Shota Akiyoshi as he walked onto the 18th green. On the big screen right next to the 18th green, which always shows the leader board, a photo with last year's winner Shoto holding trophy in his hands and words saying, "Go for the repeat!" came up.

He also got his hair cut on Monday, shorter than a crew cut, almost shaved. He promised last year to shave his head until he gets into the top 10, and he is keeping his promise.

He has been on 4 tournaments this season already but has not been able to get out from "shaved hair". Hope he will be able to get rid of that promise by making a "repeat" this week.
