Ho-Sung Choi aka "Tora-san" danced in joy for beating current No.1 to grab his V3

Worldly famous "fisherman swing" Ho-Sung Choi, also known as "tora-san" showed his dance of joy at the Final Round of Heiwa PGM Championship. Ho-Sung Choi played magnificent bogey free 4 under round to score 67 and beat the current No.1 on the Money Ranking, Shugo Imahira.

Ho-Sung started out with 1 shot lead. Strong wind died down and beautiful blue sly covered the course.
"I knew it will be down to 1 stroke battle. I was very nervous in the morning" as he faced a fight against young Order of Merit titleholder. By 4th hole, Shugo caught up with Ho-Sung, and on 8th, he was overtaken.
"I told myself I need at least 5 birdies to win" and he pushed himself to be aggressive which lead to the birdie on 11th to retake the lead.

Ho-Sung Choi is 46 years old, but he says "My passion for golf is few times stronger than the young ones", still he suffered to make a good start in spring due to seasonal allergies and fatigue. He was invited to the tournaments around the world as his "fisherman swing" became famous through the net. He went to 3 US PGA Tour tournaments including Pebble Beach Pro-Am, 1 tournament in EPGA Tour, and he went to Nairobi in March. Long hours of travel costed him with back aches, which affected to making withdraw and missing the cutline 3 times each.
But his humble character states, "I was amazed by the concertation and load of practice that world class players do. I must try harder."

On Saturday night, he washed his shirt that he wore on Round 3 in the shower.
"I wanted to keep the good luck to play well again on Sunday."
He wore the same shirt to aim for the victory on Sunday.

He was born and raised in Pohang, South Korea which is in coastal area. He is very fond of ocean as it reminds of him about his father.
"My father is 81 years old and he is not well. I really wanted to win and give him good news."

Ho-Sung Choi nailed the 5-meter on 17th to make a 2-shot swing as Shugo bogeyed that hole and he beat the current No.1 with 2 shots to make his 3rd victory come true. He made a powerful fist pump with his both arms, looked as if he was sending his thoughts back home.

This win enables him to join the prestigious season finale, Golf Nippon Series JT Cup.
"This is more than an honor for a player to be in that field. I will do my best until the very end."
Korean "Tiger" will keep on dancing joyously and will continue to amuse all of his fans.
