Shugo Imahira's favorite drink is "Sanpin" tea. Okinawa original herb tea which tastes much like Jasmin tea. Shugo bought bunch of "Sanpin" tea at local store, "I drink it every day when I come to Okinawa" says Shugo, drinking it up while he was taking a massage by his trainer at the locker room right after the Pro-am rounds.

Tournament sponsor PGM (Pacific Golf Management K.K.) has been giving chances to many young golfers who are climbing up the ladder. PGM is sponsoring this Heiwa PGM Championship and also another 2 tournaments in "Abema TV Tour" which are in the minor tour, a gateway to the regular tour in Japan. PGM offers the winners in 2 of the "Abema TV Tour" tournament a ticket to this Heiwa PGM Championship.

Shugo was one of the lucky winners who achieved that chance back in 2014. He won the "Heiwa PGM Challenge 1 - Road to Championship" and grabbed his ticket to play at the regular tour's Heiwa PGM Championship. Shugo finished 17th, where he has started his successful growth.

Now, Shugo is current Money Leader, literary leading this season's regular tour. Sponsors must be excited to see their support has made Shugo come to this stage. With "Sanpin" tea power and sponsor cheering, Shugo is ready to get his name carved on the trophy this week.
