Ryosuke Kinoshita receives pressure and encouragement from JLPGA Queen Mone Inami

No.2 Money Ranker Ryosuke Kinoshita must win or finished as solo 2nd this week to be crowned as Order of Merit Champion. He was given big encouragement and a lot of pressure by JLPGA Tour Order on Merit Queen, Mone Inami, who is learning from the same teaching professional as Ryosuke.

Last week, JLPGA Tour final was done, and No.1 Money Ranker Mone Inami finished as 9th, and was crowned as Order of Merit Queen. Soon after Ryosuke sent Mone a congratulating message, she returned by saying, "You better follow me and become Men's Order of Merit Champion too".

Ryosuke replied with low tone and whined that "but I am not playing well lately." Mone's reply was strong and harsh saying, "you haven't shown your full fighting spirit yet. It is season finals. It's now or never, so show it."

Mone is 8 years younger than Ryosuke, but he had to reply, "yes, ma'am I will do my best".

"I know that Mone had very difficult times since she suffered injury and many pressures. But she really has strong heart and will. She has so many talents that I don't have. She may be younger, but I look up to her."

Ryosuke and Mone have same teaching professional, Tomoaki Okushima as their mentor. Ryosuke missed the cutline last week at Casio World Open, and he was watching the JLPGA Tour finale on TV.

"Coach was in tear before Mone was. It will be great if I could become Order of Merit Champion too, so that coach would have both Tour's Queen and King under his name. I often joked to coach that if Mone and I didn't get the good results we deserve, it's all coach's fault. Actually, my 2 victories and the position I am at is all thanks to the coach's efforts."

Ryosuke visited the coach on Monday for last minute training to be prepped for season finals. Ryosuke's caddy, who has been carrying for him from last week, Yoshikazu Sato has experienced 3 victories at JT Cup and so many other wins.

"I will depend on his knowledge and experience too. Only way to grab the Order of Merit Champion is to win, so I must do my very best. It is now or never as Mone said, so I will stop whining about how my golf is not well. I will make shots with fighting spirit and make putts with my guts. "
