Nakajima falls short in bid for second DP World Tour win in Singapore
Keita Nakajima fired a final round seven-under-par 65 at the Porsche Singapore Classic but saw his attempt to win his second DP World Tour title falter as England’s Richard Mansell held his nerve to sink his crucial birdie putt at the final hole to win the weather-hit Porsche Singapore Classic by a single shot on Sunday.
The 2023 JGTO Money Ranking champion finished alone in second place with his three-day total of 15-under-par 201 – one ahead of Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin and France’s Adrien Saddier, who were tied for third.
Yuto Katsuragawa posted rounds of 72, 65 and 67 to end his week in Singapore in tied-sixth place, four shots back of Mansell.
A three-day monsoon surge in Singapore forced the cancellation of the first round on Thursday, leading the tournament to be decided over 54 holes.
