This week's RIZAP KBC Augusta Golf Tournament is known for Jumbo Ozaki's 4 wins including the 3 in a row from 1997. Only player who has the chance to do the repeat is the defending champion Daijiro Izumida.
"Since I am the only one who has the chance to do the repeat, I would like to do my best."

Shota Akiyoshi, who is 2 years older and same high school senior of Daijiro was all in tears when Daijiro won last year. This year he is already in tears standing next to Daijiro on JGTO's promotional video shooting. Are his tears real? Well, please wait to see it on the promotion video which will be posted up soon.

Daijiro was also looking forward to this year's tournament for another reason. Last year at the Kiya GC's summer fiesta held on Saturday, Japanese top girl's idol group HKT48 has done a fabulous stage and one of the girls, Miku Tanaka was there to shoot a photo with Daijiro. Daijiro is big fan of Miku and was looking to meet with her again, but sad news came in. She is not coming this year.

Daijiro is one of the members of Team Komei, lead by Order of Merit Champion in 2014 Komei Oda. The team is made out of the young gun from Kushu area. Daijiro is following in Komei's footsteps and moved to Fukuoka Prefecture this February. He couldn't stay so much at his new home when the season started, but during the 7 weeks off, he enjoyed many places in Fukuoka area and got really fond of the Fukuoka Prefecture.

"I feel so attached to Fukuoka now and feels great coming to Keya GC. The course is giving me good images, so I think I could do well this week."

IF he could do the repeat, it will be the best way to say "nice to join the community" to the Fukuoka residents.
