Daijiro Izumida who had to stay away from the tournaments for 2 weeks due to his injury in hip joint. But he has successfully made a great recovery by scoring 6 under and placed his name on the top of the leader board with 3 other players.

He made 2 straight birdies twice in his round today and finished with 7 birdies and a bogey to mark 66.

2 tournaments prior to this week, Daijiro injured his hip joint and had to WD before the 2 nd Round of "RIZAP KBC Augusta". He is originally from Kagoshima Prefecture, but he has moved to Fukuoka City from this February and was so pumped up to make his "hometown" victory, but instead he had to stay home and watch the tournament on TV.

He wanted to get back to the tournament ASAP, but he obeyed the advice from the JGTO official trainer and decided to be absent from the tournament for 2 weeks. He didn't even practice until last week. He was given permission to restart his practice from last Thursday and prepared for this week's "come back".
