Casio World Open Golf Tournament 2019
Current Money Leader Shugo Imahira wishes that No.2 Shaun Norris "won't be so aggressive"
He started from 10th tee, and on 15th, his tee shot went to the foot of the tree and he could not make a decent stance to swing. His golf is right-handed, but he is actually lefty, so he tried to hit it with lefty swing. But that didn't get him out of the trouble and it again went at the foot of the tree. This time he was able to take a stance and swing normally, but it didn't get close to the pin and eventually ended as a bogey.
On his back nine, he had a long birdie challenge on Par 3 2nd, but he 4 putted for miserable double bogey.
"I really had hard time reading the greens. My shots were not good either."
Shugo took a glance at the leader board and found out that current No.2 on the Money List, Shaun Norris is at total 10 under, 5 shots behind the leader at 7T going into Sunday. The difference between Shugo and Shaun is about 37 million. The winner's prize for Casio is 40 million.
"If Shaun wins, he will overtake me. I wish that he will be not so aggressive" joked Shugo.
