Shaun Norris from South Africa lost the Order of Merit race against Shugo Imahira 2 years in a row. He started out 1 shot lead against Shugo Imahira, but he finished with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys to score 70. His only chance to overtake the Order of Merit Champion Title from Shugo was to win, but he finished at total 5 under, 4T.
"So many things happened this season, so I must be happy with my position. I did my best, so I have no regrets."
He commentated with calm voice but there were some tear drops on his cheek.

He has lost his dearest father in July. Fought along with his younger brother as his caddy and battled strong until the very end. On the sunny Sunday, he was the only one with a half sleeve shirt all pumped up for the challenge, but he was too short to become the winner today.

Brad Kennedy was already club house leader at total 8 under, when Shaun came to the 18th tee box. As his tee shot fell into the left front rough, his chance for the victory and Order of Merit Champion title was gone.
"Shugo is a nice guy and fantastic player. He was meant to be defend his grand title, so I want to simply give him a big applause from my heart."

Shaun also congratulated Ryo Ishikawa for making his 3rd victory of the year at season finale big event. He was smiling all the way through around the fans, but when he came into the club house to answer the media, he broke down in tears.
"I can't help getting emotional when I think about my father."

His father always told Shaun to "do you best, and at the same time enjoy playing golf."
He kept his father's teachings and battled strong until the very last putt with his brother supporting him.
"I really miss him, but I know he would be proud of me fighting hard after the big sorrowful loss. It would have been great if I became the Order of Merit Champion, but I still have next year to challenge. I will get over this and be stronger next year. More focused and will go for bigger goal, and I will get this prestigious Title next season."

His lovely 1 year old son waits for daddy to come home soon.
"I am mentally and physically exhausted, so I want to head back home ASAP."

He may have lost the Order of Merit race, but he has become No.1 for the Putting Average with 1.7324 strokes. Tomorrow, the JGTO Award Ceremony will be held and Shaun will receive the honor. Then he will literary fly back home to his love ones.
