Fujisankei Classic 2019

Satoshi Kodaira fights for revenge at Fujizakura CC with a chatty friend on his bag

Satoshi Kodaira is back to Fujizakura CC for the first time in 2 years. He chose to stay for another tournament in Japan Tour, continuing from the Keya GC last week. In 2017 tournament, Satoshi made 4 straight birdies in his back nine on Sunday afternoon to score 65 and got himself into the playoff with Hyun-Woo Ryu.
"It was my first ever playoff and I didn't know how to stay focused. Eventually I got caught in the bunker on the 1st playoff hole and lost without a fight. I wish I could have won since I did so well in the regulations. If I could get in the winning race again this year, I would really want to succeed in revenge and grab the win."

The man on the bag for Satoshi Kodaira will be his friendly and unique manager. He is funny and happy go lucky guy, but he was top armature in his junior days and battled against Ryo Ishikawa several times. Now he supports Satoshi as his manager but has carried his bag for 7 tournaments including the PGA Championship.

But Satoshi says, "as a caddy he is a wreck. He can't calculate, doesn't measure the yardages, he can't even keep the score when he gets too concentrated in talking."

Funny thing is that his manager admits it too.
"I just carry his bag and keep him company."

How would this unique buddy will do?
