Tiger Woods press conference on Oct 21st "Can't wait to play"

Tiger Woods has arrived at the Narashino CC in Chiba Prefecture, the venue for US PGA and Japan Tour first ever co-sanctioned event ZOZO Championship and had a official press conference on Oct 21st.

Tiger last came to Japan 13 years ago to 2006 Dunlop Phoenix.
"It has been long time since I last played in Japan, but I am very looking forward to the tournament. I am thrilled to play in front of the fans who has so many respect and understanding for the game of golf."

This season, Tiger has won at the Masters, which was his 5th Green Jacket, and his 15th Major following the US Open victory in 2008. He has shown the world that he has made the great comeback, but in August he has decided to go through with his left knee surgery. So even the 2019-2020 season has already begun, this event will be Tiger's season opening event.

"I have been through surgery 5 times now, so I know how to handle. I am so glad that I could play golf again."

Tiger seems to be in good shape and ready to battle. Now he ranks 10th in World's Rankings. He also commented on the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
"It will be a great honor to represent your country. I would like to do my best to achieve that representation."

Tiger first came to Japan in 1998 at Casio World Open and he remembers playing with Jumbo Ozaki.
"Golf is loved in Japan, and it has made great progress in past 20 years. I am very honored to be a part of making history in Japanese golf history. I feel very happy coming back to Japan to play."

Many fans are excited to see Tiger, and all are hoping that he will make another memorable history in Japan.
