"I think my golf is good enough, but FUjizakura is a very tough course. Total distance is over 7500 yards, and it is not called Monster for no reason. This course will not give away any easy birdies, so I must manage to score not over Par, and if there is any chance hole make those birdie putts. I have worked on that strategy for the 9 starting holes on my practice round today."
At Fujisankei Classic, every players and caddies, and every personnel working in at the site has gone through the PCR tests. Locker rooms are closed, and the club house usage is only limited to usage of toilets. Tournament will be held without any spectators.
"It is sad not having any crowds cheering when a great performance is shown, but I hope the fans will enjoy the play broadcast in TV. Please enjoy the great game performed by the best Tour players, their ball strike controls and backspins on the green. We will try to deliver the excitement through the TV screen."
