Last week in Hong Kong, Tomoharu Otsuki already has played his first tournament of the Year 2020 and he seems to be on the roll.

He made 1.5-meter birdie on 4th and from 6th hole, he went on to make 3 straight birdies. On 6th, it was 8-meter left to right line, then on Par 5 7th he made a great short game from the left side roughs to 1.5-meter, and on Par 3 8th he nailed the 9-meter left to right line with confidence.
"I see the lines so well. Even on long putts, I feel confident that I can make a good touch and hole it."

Tomoharu has carded 60s for both 2 days to total to 6 under par, in good position going into the weekend.

He made his first ever victory in Kansai Open last May, and he has challenged the Asian Tours to achieve more skills, but it didn't work out as he wished. So, he told himself that he needs to rest well, and took the whole winter holiday season off, didn't even touch a club.

After full 2 weeks off, he went on to play at Hong Kong Open last week, and he says, "That time to reset got me back on my feet", as he finished in 7T to mark a great start of the year.

Last week, on the Final Round he was able to play along with Shane Lowry and Tony Finau, which gave him so many to learn. Tomoharu wishes to challenge to EPGA Tour this season, and eventually try out for US PGA Tour in the future.
"If I could win earlier in this season, then I could go on to go after my dreams."

He will turn 30 years old on 26th of this month. All ready and pumped up to follow his dreams.
