The inaugural Japan Players Championship's special sponsor is Sato Shokuhin, and a player show has the contract with the company, Naoto Nakanishi has been showing off his new caddy bag designed with Sato Shokuhin's mascot and his bright red and white company these colored outfits every day.

But today on 11th, he faced serious mistake, which was saved by his group player Yusaku Miyazato.
"I have mistaken the rules. I have picked up my ball since I thought this hole did apply preferred lies rule. But I didn't read the details in the brackets which said, only on places which is surrounded by green lines. I am glad that Yusaku told me of my mistakes. I had to pay the penalty but was saved from getting DQ."

Naoto was able to get that hole through with saving par even with 1 shot penalty.
"Actually my 20-meter eagle putt almost went in, so I really thank Yusaku for cautioning me. I had to pay for my mistakes, but I am looking forward for 3 more rounds here."

As he seems to be very enthusiastic, he made 2 more birdies to close the round. He says, he loves this course's setting.
"I was so happy to see this settings since my first glance of the course on my practice round. Many players said this is vert tactical course and hard to place the shots. Green is so undulated like potato chips. But I love a course like this. You need to have creative shots and strategy. Many tournament course these day are so straight and simple. But these tough courses make me score better."
