Jinichiro Kozuma was offered sponsorship by this week's tournament host ISPS, and he has been a supporting professional of PGM group who is the organizer of this week's venue Miho GC.
"Winning this week is best. I could give back my appreciation to both of my sponsors all at once."

He has been feeling the expectations from the sponsors as well. Jinichiro has finished 2T at Vantelin Tokai Classic and Bridgestone Open, 2 weeks in a row in October. When he paired up with Mr. Handa the Chairman of ISPS on Pro-Am Wednesday, he was told, "You are so close to winning. Good luck this week".

Jinichiro knows that his sponsors are waiting for his 2nd Tour victory, since his last was almost a year ago at SBMC VISA Taiheiyo Masters in November 2020.

ISPS has been sponsoring so many golf tournaments all over the world, and Chairman Handa has great knowledge of the overseas tournaments, so he was really eager to hear about the ZOZO Championship from Jinichiro.

Jinichiro shared his experience as they chatted on the course, that he was shocked to see the great accuracy of the long iron shots by the international players 2 years ago when he first challenged ZOZO Championship. But this time he didn't feel much left behind.
"I am glad that I was able to see where I stood among the world elites. My game has been good lately, so I want to win soon. I wish that I could show my appreciation to both ISPS and PGM for their warm supports by winning this week. That will be the best scenario."
