Seungsu Han made a great hole-in-one on 180 yards Par 3 17th with his 8I. This is his first ever hole-in-one in Japan.

Seungsu Han was on the border of the cutline, and this miraculous hole-in-one gave him a cushion. But on the final 18th, "I bogeyed", regretted Seungsu Han. He finished with 3 over par at 72T, 1 shot short from making the cutline.

This also, if this hole-in-one was on the weekends, he could have received 3,000,000-yen prize from the tournament sponsor Mitsubishi Corporation. But tournament organizers were generous and gave him 300,000-yen prize.

"I am grateful. I will put it in my bank right away for savings."

The cutline was at 2 over par, and 71 players including amateurs who are at 60T moved on to the weekends.
