Few days after his first ever Tour victory, which literary changed Naoyuki Kataoka's life, but he himself is still a humble and polite young gentleman.
"I have received so many messages congratulating me. I even received massages from my old school buddies. I am also being pat on the back congratulating me from all of the elder players on the Tour, which I wasn't able to have friendly conversations before."

Surrounding situation totally changed for the winner overnight. Naoyuki was really busy thanking everybody during his practice round. He was also chosen as "focused player of this week" by the broadcasting station for this week's tournament.
"I was so nervous on the interview. I am not really good at talking."

Also, his win last week gave him the chance to play this week.
"I was planning to make my way up the cub-tour, Abema Tour this season. But with the win last week, I have earned the exemption to play on the Regular Tour. I just can't believe this is happening to me."

As for the winner's prize he received, 10 years' worth, 4000 packs of "ready to eat rice packs", he said, "I won't be able to eat that much, so I am looking for a nice place to donate."

Last week his caddy, a senior to Naoyuki at both high school and college wasn't available, so he had to play all by himself with auto assisted cart.
"I think I was really concentrated last week since I was alone. So, if we do not do well this week, I told my caddy that he will be fired", joked Naoyuki.

"I hope I could become one of the player in contention and make the tournament broadcast exciting again."
