Rikuya Hoshino barely was able to keep his No.1 position on the Money Rankings, but he is deep regret on the Final Round's performance and says, he might be able to sleep tonight.

He made 3 birdies on his front nine, he was getting closer to the leader Vincent with 3 stroke deficit. But on the contrary to his motivations, he makes terrible mistake on the 10th hole.
"I made the tee shot with 1W. I told myself right trees are okay, but never to the left. But it ended up in left. That got me to panic. I usually play it safe when I face that kind of trouble, but I went on to make stupid mistake. 2nd shot went over the green and down the slope, which is the area I must avoid 100%. It wasn't OB or lost ball, I made triple bogey without any excuses."

"Then I got really upset and gone too aggressive."
He lost his cool and ended up making bogey on the next 11th hole. He lost 4 shots in 2 holes and got himself kicked out of contention.

"My goodness, golf is really tough sport. I was supposed to catch up with Scott, but I gave away lots of breathing space to him. I wished that I played better to at least battle for the win. I really regret today's game."

But Rikuya said, after he spoke out all of his regrets, he started to feel better.
"There is no meaning for regretting something that's all over. I will shift my feelings and be optimistic. My game is getting better, and I am giving myself chance to be in contention, so nest time I will fight harder to grab my victory."
