2 lovely couples, Vincent and Kruger are stealing the headlines at ANA Open R2. Scott Vincent played magnificently with bogey free 9 birdies to score 63 and caught up with 1R leader Jbe Kruger.

Especially on his last 4 holes, as he recalls, "we were so excited to see the outcome". On the final 18th, his high trajectory 2 shot from right side roughs got to 4.5-meter of the pin to close the day with 4 straight birdies. It was windy and tough condition, but Scott marked 9 birdies, made it look really easy.

1R leader Jbe Kruger also managed to keep his leader position by scoring 65, who emphasized his great wife's support as his caddy. But as all of us know by now, Scott and Kelsey pair is pretty great too.
"My great performance owes to my wife's support. Actually, her support is the only reason for my great performance today. I have the greatest caddy."
Scott squeezed his lovely wife and talked about how great she is and nothing about his golf.

Scott was so busy having fun along with his wife, he didn't notice that today was Ryo Ishikawa's birthday, even though it was announced at the starting tee.
"I guess I didn't understand the Japanese announcement. He turns 30 today? I should have congratulated him. I will do so later."

This week, Scott has his chance to earn his 2nd Tour victory following his 1st at Sansan KBC Augusta.

Saturday's 3R might have effect from bad weather forecast.
"I don't care if the wind gets stronger or rains heavy, my goal is to fight for the victory."

Krugers and VIncents are really close friends, but as for battling for the victory, they must put the friendship aside.
