Jinichiro Kozuma gave himself a good chance to go after his season 2nd victory with a nerve wrecking final 3-hole performance.

On the tough Par 3 16th, he was caught in the bunker and also missed the 2-meter par putt and made bogey.
"I haven't been in contention lately, so maybe I was getting nervous."

Then on the final 18th, he pulled his tee shot into the left side trees. He got it out of the trees but landed in the deep rough and still had 160 yards to play. He caught the green on 3rd shot, but he had 10-meter putt to save par.
"I was fearing this hole will become bogey, but it luckily went in."

Jinichiro was able to keep his deficit against the leader Chan Kim in 2 strokes.
"I will get focused and do my best tomorrow."

Jinichiro's career first victory was at last year's SMBC VISA Taiheiyo Masters. He has given himself a good chance to go after his second victory.

He was told by the TV broadcast interviewer that his elder sister, Kotone, who is JLPGA player has won her first victory at JLPGA Tokai Classic in 2018.
"That's right! I hope I could follow my sister and accomplish to win. It is quite rare that siblings to win at same sponsored tournaments, so I am very motivated to accomplish it."
