5th year professional Yuwa Kosaihira, has been sponsored by the Taiheoyo Club, the host sponsor of this tournament 3 years ago, and has been making appearance to the event 3 years in a row. Yuwa still has no victory under his belt, but he is so eager to accomplish the win, in order to show his appreciations to his sponsor.

He wore deep green and bright yellow sweater to fit the atmosphere, but it was bit wrinkled. Suddendly, Hideto Tanihara came by and scolded at him that he must look sharp as a hosting professional, and he should place steam iron to fix it.

Then a moment later, Yuwa was given an encouraging word.

"Yuwa, good luck this week."

It was a voice of President and CEO Mr. Shun Han of Taiheiyo Club.

"Thank you so much for all of your warm support always."

Yuwa is known to speak quietly, but he was almost shouting as he said this and bowed deeply.

Last year as most of the tournaments were cancelled due to pandemic, this event was held. During the off season, Taiheiyo Club has offered Yuwa to use the huge practice range freely, and also play on the course after all of the guests made their starts.

Last year, thanks to all of these privileges, Yuwa jumped up as 1T after 2R. But he couldn't close the deal on Sunday and finished as 10T
