Mikumu Horikawa's 2nd Tour victory was also wire-to-wire. It wasn't easy ride, but he came through at the end. On 17th, he missed 2.5-meter putt and with that bogey his lead became only 1 shot.

"I saw the leaderboard and told myself, regretting is worthless. I told myself that I must make an eagle, or at least a birdie on 18th."

His 2nd shot from the fairway caught the green and stopped at 8-meters right of the pin.

"It has been 2 and half years since my 1st Tour victory. I have been suffering putting yips since then. It was really difficult times so made me feel like it was 10 years

His eagle putt didn't fall in, but still it was perfect touch, and his story about suffering from yips seemed like a lie. Mikumu 2-putted for birdie and took away the victory. Mikumu won his 1st Tour victory at 2019 Japan Golf Tour Championship, and that was also wire-to-wire.

"Kochi Kuroshio CC has great greens. Thanks to the wonderful maintenance, I was able to make so many good putts. I started out with 3 strokes lead, but I knew that there would be so many talented players making charges today. I was nervous and felt unconfident at times, but so many cheering voices supported me."

As for Order of Merit race, Takumi Kanaya finished as 4T and his position on the Money Rankings stays the same at 3 rd. Ryosuke Kinoshita who missed the cutline this week also stays the same at 2nd. Chan Kim finished as 45T, but he still keeps the top position on the Money Rankings. SO, the Order of Merit race won't be decided until the final tournament, JT Cup next week.
