Takumi Kanaya and many more made the best by practicing on the rained out cancellation
Ryo Ishikawa, who has marked the Guinness World Record score of "58" in 2010 event came to the course at 6:30am to hear the bad news.
Ryo had breakfast at the club house restaurant and, "considering the best way for my preparation, I wil go back to my hotel, then I will figure out what to do later".
Takumi Kanaya came to the course around 6:00am getting ready for his start said, "I knew the weather forecast was bad, but I intended to stay focused ready to play. It is unfortunate that today got cancelled, but I could have a good day off to rest a little. We had tournaments after tournaments, so I glad that I could relax today. I will make the best of this day off and prepare my best for tomorrow."
Takumi remained at the course for a while to spend some time at the practice range.
Takumi met up with Mikumu Horikawa at the putting green and was asked to participate on the Youtube with him. Takumi shared his secret technics about his timing on the shots, how he reads the lines using his putter and so forth.
Practice grounds were opened to the players up until 12:00 noon, many players such as Toru Taniguchi and Shingo Katayama spent quality time preparing for tomorrow.
Rescheduled 1st Round will begin at 9 in the morning tomorrow, April 30th.
