Hirotaro Naito injured his back during his training in the off season.
"I wasn't able to practice for 2 months, and I am not completely well, but I am motivated."

That is, his "lifesaving" sponsor, CEO of the supermarket chain owner Yusuke Takagi is on Hirotaro's bag this week.
This Takagi CEO has offered Hirotaro with the sponsorship last year during the pandemic anxiety.
"He has been telling me that he wants to carry the bag for me, and this week it became a reality. So, I must play really well."

As he aimed, he made 6 birdies and a bogey to score 65 on maximum 17-meter gusty wind condition. Hirotaro jumped up to 3T with total of 11 under and CEO/caddy praised Hirotaro by commenting "he was patient and played so well".

Takagi CEO also said, "may be next year I will ask Daisuke Shindo to pair up with me and challenge this tournament."
This Diasuke Shindo used to caddy for Hideki Matsuyama and Daisuke was the one who introduced Hirotaro to Takagi CEO.
"Please come back next year paring with Daisuke."

Takagi CEO/caddy was very caring also.
"He brought me homemade honey and lemon drink. I am really grateful for his kindness. I must pay back by playing my best."

"It would be really great if you win your first victory here, and I become winner's caddy on my first challenge", joked Takagi CEO/caddy.

"I must win this week, I think", humbly answered Hirotaro.
