Hirotaro Naito on his 14th year as a Pro, is having a biggest chance for his first ever victory. He had 3-putts on 4th and couldn't get out from the sand trap on 5th. After stumbling 2 straight bogeys, his caddy offered "honey lemon" to chance his mood.
"We planned to eat the honey lemon after the bogey to refresh our minds. He kept on cheering for me and supported me."

This great support worked out and he has lessened his deficit of 5 shots to 3 going on to the final Sunday. Homemade honey lemon by his caddy, who is also CEO of his sponsoring supermarket chain owner Mr. Takagi, has become a good luck charm.

First, it was to refresh from the bogey misses, but gradually the honey lemon gave him birdies.
"So, we I started to eat honey lemon, when I got my birdie chances. I don't know how much lemon I ate today."

Hirotaro had another sweet & sour birdie chance on 18th but couldn't make the putt. Still, he was able to make himself into the final group tomorrow.
"I am very proud of today's golf. I was able to make a comeback from 2 straight bogeys. My caddy, Mr. Takagi was very observing the tournament objectively and gave me wise guidance. He was the flow of the game and told me to aim for 4 under play today. I was able to do 1 shot better to shoot 65."

Hirotaro is 2T onto the final Sunday.
"After the round we have discussed the winning score will be 22 under. Which means he must make at least 6 birdies."
